Sometimes we think we have all the answers and that we've seen and tried every system or plan of evangelism. However, the four days Bro. Mike and the team was here have taught me something new.
When my Pastor told me that an American group was coming to do door to door witnessing, I almost cried. I had just returned for a conference in Southern Mexico where I was speaking in a Youth Camp. I was not looking forward to spending the entire week translating for americans.
I was plesantly surprised to learn that they had come to SERVE, not be served. Even though most of them did not speak Spanish, their method of using Card Talks, testimonies, and Mexican church members was very effective.
I was very skeptical, at first, of their ability to "pull it off". However, I must say that I stand with my mouth shut in amazement at what God has done here through Bro. Mike and his team.
In four days, we visited homes around one church and two missions and have the names and addresses of 162 people that made professions of faith.
I highly reccommend that others consider using teams from Faith-Walk Ministries International. I eagerly await their return in January.
P.S. I'm no longer tired. This has been a time of refreshing.
